Early records, from about 1650 BCE show that homosexuality was a respected practice in those times. There are records that show there were even formal ceremonies between Men, where they were accepted as a couple.
When you think about it, Homosexuality was considered a mental disorder until the 1970’s. Makes you really wonder, what else are they getting wrong?
